Sylvester James (6 de setembro de 1947 - 16 de dezembro de 1988), mais conhecido como Sylvester, foi um cantor americano de disco e soul, e um drago queen. Sylvester foi conhecido como a "Rainha do Disco", embora este apelido também tenha sido aplicado a mulheres da era disco (ou seja, Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer). As suas obras mais significativas são as canções "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)", "Dance (Disco Heat)" (ambos de 1978) e "Do You Wanna Funk" (1982).
