Billy Crystal makes his ninth appearance as host of the annual ceremonies, telecast from the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles. “Hugo” leads the nominees with 11, including Best Picture. The other nominees for Best Picture are “The Artist,” “The Descendants,” “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close,” “The Help,” “Midnight in Paris,” “Moneyball,” “The Tree of Life” and “War Horse.” Scheduled presenters include Halle Berry, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
