Axel Rudi Pell é um guitarrista alemão, tocando Power/Heavy Metal. Ele começou com a banda Steeler (1984-1988) antes de sair para
iniciar a sua carreira solo em 1989 com o mesmo nome da banda de Axel Rudi Pell. Lançou nesse ano (1989) o disco Wild Obsession,
que tinha nos vocais Charlie Huhn (ex-Gary Moore, Victory) e na bateria Jörg Michael (ex-Rage, Grave Digger, Running Wild, atual
Stratovarius), além de Volker Krawczak, que tocou com Axel Rudi Pell nos dois primeiros discos do Steeler, no baixo. Jörg Michael
ficou na banda até 1998 e Volker Krawczak continua com Axel até hoje.
