Jimmy Warner lived in a small, quiet town in the interior of the United States, along with his family and his pet dog, a German shepherd named Rinty. One day his father gets a promotion and need to move the family to New York. As if this were not enough, they will live in an apartment where pets are not accepted. Jimmy says goodbye to Rinty, leaving your new address on the collar Rinty. But the German Shepherd does not want to leave his owner and friend alone in the big city. He embarks on a journey full of surprises until he comes to New York. There, Rinty faces another series of dangerous adventures to find his best friend Jimmy.
