DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince foi um grupo de hip hop popular nos anos 80 e 90. O vocalista, Will Smith (The Fresh Prince), conheceu Jeff Townes (DJ Jazzy Jeff) enquanto se tentava estabelecer na cena hip hop local de West Philadelphia. Após juntarem forças com Clarence Holmes, mais conhecido como Ready Rock C, tornaram-se celebridades locais. Holmes deixou o grupo em 1990 e processou-os em 1999.
Em 1989, receberam o primeiro Grammy de rap alguma vezes entregue a um artista por "Parents Just Don't Understand". Os dois permanecem amigos, tendo criado músicas para a carreira solo de Smith.
