Os The Pogues são uma banda que mistura música irlandesa e inglesa com a música tradicional irlandesa e também com influências de punk e jazz, formada em 1982 por Shane MacGowan.
A banda alcançou projecção internacional na década de 1980 e início de 1990. MacGowan deixou a banda em 1991 devido ao problema de alcoolismo, mas a banda continuou primeiro com Joe Strummer, e depois com Spider Stacy na voz antes de se separarem em 1996. A banda voltou em 2001, e vem actuando regularmente, com mais frequência nos EUA em torno da costa leste e em todo o Reino Unido e Irlanda.
