China Crisis é uma banda Inglesa de pop/rock. Eles foram formados em 1979 em Kirkby, perto de Liverpool, Merseyside por um vocalista/teclista Gary Daly e um guitarrista Eddie Lundon.
A sua música era pop num estilo semelhante ao do New Wave, mas com fortes semelhanças ao pós-punk, movimento do início dos anos 80, nomeadamente com a inclusão de um vasto leque de influências musicais e ocasionalmente com comentários políticos.
Ao longo da sua carreira, os China Crisis viram o sucesso no Reino Unido com dez singles e seis álbuns entre Agosto de 1982 e Janeiro de 1987, bem como o sucesso comercial na Europa Ocidental, Austrália e Américas.
